Business Report Presentation

Effective Public Communication: Assignment Three

This project incorporates with other two subjects, English II and Principle of Economics. Even so, all three subjects have different contents as submission. For this project, we were supposed to work in groups of 4 to interview two different businesses of the similar types of business, one within Klang Valley and the other outside of it.

For Effective Public Communication, we were supposed to make a present based on the information from the information gathered in the report for the two other subjects. In the slides we had included background of the businesses, competitors and challenges of the business, recommendation for the business and more. After compiling all the information in the slides, we then have to present the information and record a video of 20 minutes.

Our group had chosen the businesses of Food and Beverages (F&B), we focused on noodle shops. The first business of ours is called Yee Kee Beef Noodles, and our second one is SRK Noodle House.

Reflection:
From this project I learned to communicate well during the interviews with the businesses, and also to listen well to the interviewee's words, as sometimes not only the words matter, but the way they speak matters too. I also learned to organize and summarise information for the slides, and to present the information in a clear and logical manner. I think the right attitude to go with these outcomes is to be more sociable and polite because it involves interviewing with the business. At the end of the module, I learned to be evaluate information from a business and also to be good in presenting the information founded. But one of my weakness is that I tend to get nervous during presentation, but my strength is to be making the slides more informative. I also realized by the end of the module I get better at presenting.
