Surface Area and Volume

Mathematics: Class Activity

This exercise is required for us to first calculate the proportions of a model, do some calculations, and then build the model out. The model should be of manilla card thickness. This exercise is not only for all the team mates to work together to build a model out, but to also apply the theories learned about each shape and volume and join all of them to produce the right calculation and then using the calculation to build the model.

Exercise Question

Model

Surface area proportions

Calculations

Reflection:
Through this exercise I learned to use the taught theories into the calculation. Using the calculation, it can then produce an accurate result, and then create a proportioned model. Other than that I also learned that it is important to have teamwork nevertheless discussing about the calculations or building the model.
